In her late teens, she moved to Australia, where she gained experience presenting children’s television, helping build her early broadcasting profile.
Returning to the UK in the 1990s, she worked with major broadcasters including Sky News and ITV. She became a familiar face on travel and consumer programmes, including the BBC’s Holiday and investigative series Watchdog.
In 2015, she joined Escape to the Country on BBC One, where she assists buyers in finding homes in rural areas across the UK.
