Fiona Bruce was born in born 25 April 1964 to a Scottish father, John Bruce and English mother, Rosemary Bruce. She is a leading BBC journalist and broadcaster who has worked with the corporation since 1989. Fiona first joined as a researcher on the investigative programme Panorama before moving into reporting and presenting roles across BBC News.

Over the years she has presented several flagship news programmes including BBC News at Six and BBC News at Ten on BBC One. Her calm and authoritative style made her one of the most recognizable faces in British television journalism.

Bruce is also known for hosting the long-running antiques programme Antiques Roadshow on BBC One, a role she took over in 2008. She also presents the BBC political debate programme Question Time and co-hosts the art investigation series Fake or Fortune?, which explores the authenticity of famous artworks.

Bruce lives in London with her husband, Nigel and balances her broadcasting career with family life and charitable work.
