Beyond his TV career, Stone owns acclaimed restaurants, including the Michelin-starred steakhouse Gwen in Hollywood, The Pie Room by Curtis Stone in Beverly Hills, and Woodend by Curtis Stone at the Maroma Hotel in Mexico. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two sons.
