Christina Trevanion was born on 12 June 1981 in Shropshire, England. She grew up in a family that encouraged her interest in antiques, frequently attending auctions with her parents, David and Hazel Trevanion.

She developed her expertise early and pursued formal training, studying Fine Art Valuation at Southampton Solent University. After graduating, she worked at leading auction houses including Christie’s, gaining extensive experience in antiques and valuation.

Trevanion later co-founded her own firm, Trevanion Auctioneers & Valuers, in Shropshire. Her television career followed, where she became a regular expert on BBC antiques shows such as Antiques Road Trip and Flog It!.

She went on to present Bargain Hunt on BBC One, becoming one of the programme’s well-known faces, and later co-presented The Travelling Auctioneers.

She lives in the UK with her husband and two daughters, balancing her television career with running her auction business.
