In 2004, Cohen joined Bravo, where he helped develop many of the network’s most successful reality programs. He became executive vice president of development and talent at Bravo and played a key role in expanding the Real Housewives franchise. In 2009, Cohen launched Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which became Bravo’s flagship late-night talk show featuring celebrity interviews and pop-culture discussions.

As a trailblazer in the industry, Cohen was one of the first openly gay late-night hosts on a major network. He is a dedicated single father to his two children, Benjamin and Lucy, both born via surrogate. Outside of television, he is known for his active involvement in LGBTQ+ advocacy and Jewish community initiatives.
